The Leadership Connection understands the needs of non-profit agencies, small businesses,state agencies, higher education, and faith-based organizations, those looking for OD solutions and HR services. Sylvia Stokes the principal of The Leadership Connection has worked with and for non-profit organizations, state and local government for most of her professional life. The Leadership Connection not only provides training, but excels in the development and implementation of HR solutions for your organization.
Many non-profit organizations and faith based organizations do not have the time or the expertise to create and maintain the policies and procedures necessary to run an HR compliant organization. The Leadership Connection will meet with you to develop a plan for HR solutions that meets the needs of your organization.
Through Making a Way a component of The Leadership Connection, Ms. Stokes will assist ministries and individual team members in finding what God has puposed for them in their life.Through biblical references Ms. Stokes will facilitate team building sessions for newly developed ministries to aide them in being successful in their service to God and their community. Using scripture from Nehemiah, 2 Kings and others, the workshops helps to develop membership with the ministry as a way to feel connected and committed to the goals of the ministry. The workshop also uses the vision and mission of your church as a basis for setting priorities within the ministry. Don't have a Mission, Vision, and Priorities? Making a Way will work with your leaders to develop a vision, mission and a set of priorities that can be embraced by your church membership and lead to furthering God's purpose for us on earth.
